About this series:
This series explores delicateness within masculinity. Wrapping around the model a sheer organza cloth which matches the tone of his hair, and shooting amongst the washed - out green reeds, there is a play on the visual theme of a flower. The fragility of a flower is expressed through his poses (with the recurring idea of a cocoon and hybernation), through the presence of his hands in frame, and the aversion of his stare. However, I like to think that it's by splicing in some elements such as the occasional direct stare or his placement in the frame that give him a defiancy despite the delicacy.
